Hand sanitizer has become liquid gold within the last several months as we all guard ourselves against COVID-19. And while the availability of these products has increased, that doesn’t mean that they are all created equally or with the same quality control that you’ve come to expect from Sisel. You still need to turn the bottle to see what other potentially harmful ingredients might be added.
The FDA has recently advised consumers that certain hand sanitizers may contain significant amounts of methanol, a type of alcohol used to create fuel, solvents, and antifreeze, which is both flammable and toxic when absorbed or ingested into the body. (chemicalsafetyfacts.com) The FDA warns that anyone exposed to these hand sanitizers containing methanol should seek immediate medical help.
Producing safe products is at the very foundation of the Mower Mission. Sisel Safe® is not just a slogan, it’s a guiding principle for every product we produce. And though the hand sanitizer we offer is not technically Sisel Safe (because of the key ingredient alcohol), you can rest assured that it does not contain methanol.
What better way to make a brand impression than with something your customers will be reaching for many times a day.
